If you are creating a new driveway, or widening an existing one, you must first contact our office and complete an entrance permit application. There is a $150 fee that must be paid at the time of the application ($100 application fee and $50 inspection fee). Payment can be made by debit or cheque at the Manitou Office in Amherstview located at 18 Manitou Crescent West.
All driveway culverts must be installed by the Township. The cost for a 6m culvert is $1,800, plus $150 per metre for each additional metre.
Depending on the scope of work to be completed, a $2,500 damage deposit may be required.
