Aquafit Programs

Our Aquafit classes are for ANYONE! If you are interested in increasing your fitness level, water fitness can help you. Each class offers a combination of stretching, strength and resistance training, as well as a variety of balance, range of motion, and cardiovascular exercises. Exercising in the pool is fun and takes pressure of your joints and limbs too. Come visit the Barr Homes Aquatic Centre and try out a class today!

Summer 2026

The Barr Homes Aquatic Centre is opening Summer 2026! During the summer months, we will be running a reduced aquafit schedule while we onboard our staff and get more familiar with our beautiful new aquatic centre. Classes will take place in the Latham Lap Pool and the Savage Family Leisure Pool.

Pre-registration for classes is recommended to guarantee your spot as our aquafit programs have high demand with a limit to class capacity. Drop-in is still an option for this program, if spaces are available.

Aquafit is open for pre-registration one week prior to the event for residents and Kingston residents, and four days prior to the event for non-residents. Drop-in registration is also possible if spots are available the day of the class.
