2026 Summer Outdoor Concert Series

Grab a lawn chair, a blanket and your dancing shoes and join us this summer for free live music at our TuNes Day in the Township summer concert series!

All concerts will take place at the amphitheatre in Amherstview located at Loyalist Park, 133 Pratt Drive and will be free of charge.

Concerts are weather dependent. In the event of a cancellation, a sign will be posted at the concert location and an announcement made on our social media.

Call for Musicians

Are you a local music group looking for an opportunity to share your craft?  

Loyalist Township invites you to apply to perform at our outdoor evening Summer Concert Series at the Amherstview Amphitheatre in Loyalist Park located at 133 Pratt Drive. 

Four concerts will take place on the third Wednesday of the month between May and August. Musicians will be contracted to provide an uninterrupted 90-minute performance starting at 6:30 p.m. 

Applications are open January 5 to February 27, 2026

TuNesday Concert Series Application

Musician requirements

  • Submissions are open to local music groups from Loyalist Township and neighbouring communities.
  • Music groups must comprise three or more musicians.
  • Applications will be evaluated by a Selection Team comprised of Loyalist Township staff. 
  • They will be based on artistic merit and potential for wide audience appeal.
  • All genres of music group are encouraged to apply. 
  • Selected bands will be contacted for scheduling upon acceptance. 
  • All concerts are held outdoors on the grass. There is no stage available.  
  • Vehicles are not permitted to park on the grass. Parking is limited with curbside parking available.  
  • Vehicles are not permitted to park near the performance area unless for unloading and loading purposes. 
  • Adequate power is available for use. 
  • Concerts are weather dependent at the discretion of Loyalist Township. 
  • Music groups agree to work with Loyalist Township to find an alternative concert date if the original concert is postponed due to inclement weather.  
  • Provide, set up and clean up PA systems, instruments (including backline) and a sound technician (if required). 
  • Provide an uninterrupted 90-minute show starting at 6:30 p.m.
  • Ensure that set up is complete by 6:00 p.m. to begin the performance at 6:30 p.m. 
  • Provide family-friendly live music for the 90-minute concert. 
  • Agree to perform, regardless of the weather, unless the concert is cancelled by Loyalist Township.
  • Provide all necessary information for payment. 
  • Provide a certificate of insurance with $2 million in commercial general liability with Loyalist Township added as an additional insured.
    • Groups without insurance can purchase it for approximately $15/per day through the Township.  
  • Artist payments are based on number of performers.
  • Remuneration ranges from $300 up to $575 (+HST if applicable) per group.
  • Please fill out the application form if you are interested in being considered for a concert.
  • Applications open January 5 and close February 27.
